Addicted to your morning coffee?

Do you feel that your day just wont start without your morning coffee? The thing to remember is that most of us are going to feel most alert between 8-9am in the morning, which is when our body is naturally producing cortisol, a hormone that makes you feel alert. If you drink caffeine during this naturally high period of cortisol, it won’t be as effective because you’re already more alert, and in the long run it will take much more caffeine to give you a jolt. It’s more effective to drink your coffee between 9:30am and 11:30am, when cortisol dips.
