Herbs with anti-cancer properties

Herbs such as rosemary, sage, thyme, chamomile, dandelion, ginkgo, green tea, and milk thistle contain flavonoids; a group of plant pigments which exert antioxidant activity, that help prevent cancer and reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Flavonoids help vitamin C work more efficiently as an antioxidant, mopping up the cancer causing free radicals.
